Thomas Nosuke Tiffanyblue Edition by Doktor A x Tomenosuke

Over the past few months we have been treated to teasers and the process the making of Doktor A Thomas Nosuke which is powered by the fine folks at Tomenosuke. Tiffanyblue Edition now has an offical release date as well as from today we get to see the turn around and fully assembled.

It was the start of 2014 when the design of a Sofubi robot called Thomas Nosuke was first sent to me by Doktor A. It was exactly five years ago. The person whom I had initially engaged to make the prototype disturbed his health condition and needed some time to fully recover. So I tentatively started the plan over from the beginning.
After that, some time passed before I passed the baton to Youhei Kaneko of mirock toy, and the prototype was completed in July last year. The production at the factory Obitsu also proceeded smoothly, leading to this day. – Tomenosuke

We will be releasing one type every week from March 23rd (Sat). First, we will release the first edition, “Tiffanyblue,” on the 23rd, at 11:59 p.m. (JST). After that, we will release the second edition on March 30th and the third edition on April 6th at same time, but we will not announce the specifications of the figure (the color of the finish) until the day before its release.
40 of each edition are being produced. Five each for AP and PP, and the remaining 30 will be sold online. All of them will come with a bonus miniature accessory in the style of the space pistol that was used in the 1956 Sci-Fi Classic, “Forbidden Planet.” Thomas Nosuke can be made to hold it.
