Get your party hats on because there is something to celebrate! The wait is over. Pre-orders for the Thimblestump Hollow series 2 will open this week!
The Thimblestump Hollow vinyl blind box toy line is based on characters created by artists Chris Ryniak and Amanda Louise Spayd, and produced by Cardboard Spaceship Toys. They have made their debut at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con.
“Thimblestump Hollow looks like any normal slice of the natural world – in fact, it may be in your own yard, at the end of your street, or in that forgotten corner by the grocery store where that patch of weeds is growing. The creatures of Thimblestump Hollow inhabit these places, asking us to pause for a second and consider what worlds could be just beyond our notice, if we would only stop and look. “
Fruit Salad colorway – San Diego Comic Con 2018 exclusive
This year a few characters of series 2 were introduced at San Diego Comic Con with a special colorway called ‘Fruit Salad”. Now we have the official release of the full series with another colorway called ‘Birthday Party’. This is a very sweet, cheerful colorway. Not everyone will like it but there are more colorways on the way! I am sure there will be something for everyone to like. Some of the new characters like Mothpup you may already have seen as a wood print and/or sticker.

With this series they have solved some of the problems the first series had. The figures of the first series had some fragile parts that were easily broken. Now they have solved that by making these parts flexible.
Pre-orders at the Bindlewood shop will open Tuesday, October 30th at 9 pm EDT / 1 am BST. They will only be offering pre-orders for full cases. Each case contains a full set of all 10 figures in the Birthday Party colorway, plus two random figures in the special “Succulent” chase colorway. Full cases will be $140 plus shipping. The shipping of orders will begin the moment stock arrives, probably within a week or so.
