The artist behind SAD MERMAID OHAYO, HANNYA & TENGU , ICE CREAM CRAB plus the incredible DI HUANG AKA The KINGDOM, just to name a few puts his twist and gory mark on the classic Nutcracker! Drawing influence from the classic story “The Nutcracker and the King of Mice” written by E.T.A. Hoffman, Nomiwa envisioned the courageous Nutcracker after the war with the rat king. A dark reinterpretation that draws inspiration from the gothic & grotesque German fairy tales from the 1800s.
