You’ve heard them talk about it on Marsham Toy Hour podcast, you’ve seen it at Five Points Festival 2019 and now you can have the chance to own Horrible Adorables The Familiar; Nutterson III! Powered by the folks at Squibbles Ink and possibly cutness. Jordan Elise & Chris Lees AKA “Horrible Adorables” have announced the online release of The Familiar; Nutterson III this weekend.
Nutterson III is the overly curious and absentminded Familiar with the Aether Mage Akasha. He was called into service after both Nutterson I and Nutterson II (no relation) were consecutively dematerialized while playing with Akasha’s Atomic Astrolabe. These unfortunate incidents occurred immediately after Akasha told them not to touch the delicate instrument. Luckily the topic of the Atomic Astrolabe has not yet come up in Nutterson III’s training. As the Aether Familiar, Nutterson III is one of the most powerful spellcasters in all of Joralee; if you can get him to focus long enough to actually cast a spell.
Nutterson III is a soft vinyl toy in our Purple-Marbled Aether Colorway. He measures 5″ tall and has an articulated head and paws that can be posed to cast all sorts of spells. His decorative star and all seeing eye are painted shimmery silver.
Nutterson III comes with a starter pack of our new game Ballyhoo! It includes 7x playing cards, 1x 20 sided die, 1x custom printed Ballyhoo coin, 6x score markers, a magic pouch, and a download code to play the Ballyhoo board game
The good Witches and Wizards of Joralee were ambushed and captured by a horde of evil Foes. Their only hope is for their Familiars to save them. Although, it is not a strong hope since their Familiars are not well trained and are all a little bumbling. Nevertheless, the Familiars have dutifully banded together on a quest to overthrow the evil Foes and save their spellcasting partners. They may just surprise their Witches and Wizards with a few tricks (and Familiars) of their own!
Ballyhoo! is a cooperative style game where you must work with your fellow Familiars to figure out how to defeat the horde of evil Foes. It is intended for 1-5 players, and recommended for ages 8 and up. If you purchase our Familiar toy you will receive a code to download the current Beta version of the game in .pdf form to print out and play at home. Artwork, rules, and game cards will be periodically updated with every new Familiar colour release.
WHEN: Online Release: June 9, 8pm EST
Look for a Kickstarter in early 2020 for the final version of Ballyhoo!
