Levelling up once again and challenging herself is Emelie Jensen from Tomodachi Island! The amount of love and perfectionism she puts on her creations are out of this world. Part 1 of her The Elementals custom COARSE OMENS has been wonderful to watch Emelie showcase the process of these two Elemental omens. This week you will have a chance to own the Omen Wind & Water.
WIND ELEMENTAL
Most of the time I haven’t decided on the colour schemes of a custom until I actually start painting it, and I’d say that 95% of the time I end up going in a completely different direction from what I originally planned. I had so many colours in mind for the Wind Elemental. Since the sculpt is so complicated a mix of too many colours could have ruined it though. So I went with a really soft blue gradient with white and brass details to give it that almost angelic look. I’m so proud of it! – Tomodachi Island!
WATER ELEMENTAL
This is where I really had to put myself out of my comfort zone… When I had finished the water and all the blue tones, it was all just too…..blue. I felt really lost to be honest. But as I have drawn, painted and tattooed a million Japanese inspired tattoos, the answer was just around the corner.
