Well, this is an absolutely WELCOMED blast from the Designer Toy past! One of our favourite EVER Kidrobot Dunny from the 2012 Dunny series was the Project Dunny by Brazilian artist, Sergio Mancini! Now we are super happy to see that the design works just as well as it did back in 2012 but now on the Quiccs MegaTEQ in 2020! It’s quite the iconic design for a Designer Toy, wouldn’t you agree?
We at TTC have long been advocates of the work of Sergio Mancini, in fact one of the VERY FIRST posts I wrote on The Toy Chronicle back in 2013 was about Sergio and his Project Devil custom Dunny (read HERE). That was on the first day of TTC! So yeah super happy to see that Sergio has been given the freedom of putting his Project design on to the MegaTEQ!

The Project Martian is the name of the blue/white 12inch MegaTEQ you see above, and this is limited to 200 pieces. They’ll drop at 12pm Noon EST (5pm BST) on martiantoys.com TODAY! Price expected to be $200+shipping.
The Black & Gold version, is the Project X and this is super limited to only 75 pieces. with Martian Toys and I am Retro sharing this stock. You can only purchase the Project X if you buy it as a bundle with the Project Martian or the Project Retro (see details below). With only 75 of these beauts available, we can’t imagine they’ll last long!
The Project Retro edition of this MegaTEQ will be available from the I am Retro online store today at 12pm Noon EST (5pm BST). Also limited to 200 pieces. Price is also expected to be $200 per 12inch MegaTEQ with the bundle for $400. You’ll be able to buy from IamRetro.com at 5pm BST today.
