The living legend of the designer toy scene links up with our buddies at UVD to present the 7″ vinyl “Rumpus“. The inspiration behind the character’s classic relaxed walking pose. The dynamic stance captures the artist’s iconic character in motion, giving life to the figure. This is your chance to own this classic character from Scribe’s murals, artwork, and books in 3-D!
A big part of the Rumpus concept for me is that he represents the idea of people with big dreams. He is strong and determined but not without weakness. Unfortunately, Rhino is hunted for their horns and will possibly be gone in our lifetime. The horns are much like the creative spirit and dreams of people with the vision about where they want to go in their lives. Sometimes when the ones around you get a sense that your horn is pointed in a solid direction… they will work at trying to cut it off. Some of the work with Rumpus shows honesty of having days of real weakness in his journey, and some of the work shows days of strength charging forward. – D.Ross Scribe
