If you’re not familiar with the ‘Non-Standard Collection’ by Mandarake let me give you the rundown. This series features giant robot based on the hit toys of the 70s. Currently on Part 4, the series features ‘Astroganger’, a 1972 series by Knack Production. This rendition of the Astroganger became really popular amongst collectors. Now you can add another version to your collection or simply start one if you’re into giant obscure robots (as I am).
Originally sold at the Mandarake Daimansai Festival in May 2019 the latest version of the highly popular Astrogange is now available for online purchase.
The ‘prototype’ color scheme is inspired by the colors used in shonen magazines and TV broadcasts back in the day.
Stands 60cm and features full color package and Kantaro Hoshi mini sofubi.
