Fans can pre-order the newly announced Elegorgon statue, which is an unsettlingly adorable mashup between two of the Netflix original’s biggest characters. Check out the video below.
The limited-edition vinyl statue features the stylized body of the heroic Eleven, but her determined face has been replaced with the Demogorgon’s gaping maw. The collectable is based on an illustration from pop-artist CHOGRIN and features details that fans of the show will appreciate, including Eleven’s season-one outfit and the Demogorgon’s fully exposed face, which appears to be poised to chow down on a frozen waffle.
Eleven, the precocious kinetic wonderkind of Stranger Things, is one of the most iconic residents of Hawkins, Indiana — and it’s her complicated relationship with the Upside Down that keeps us curious. For pop culture-obsessed artist, Chogrin, curiosity is his playground, and he sure loves a good remix. His latest mashup is lovingly dubbed “Elegorgon,” an appropriate namesake because it asks the theoretical question, “What would a half Eggo-eatin’ tween, half teethy demogorgon look like?” The result is an absolute delight, cleverly combining good and ghoul in a vibrantly coloured vinyl masterpiece.
This gleefully grim collaboration between Netflix and premium collectable purveyors, iam8bit, spares no attention to detail. The unboxing is a sensory experience, from slipping off the O-Sleeve to reveal elegant embellishments like foil, suede and spot varnish to opening the box itself, where the Elegorgon rests in a bed of gentle foam alongside a hand-numbered artist card, featuring Chogin’s original illustration that inspired this collectible.

Chogrin is an illustrator & storyteller from Guayaquil, Ecuador. His work is inspired by classic animated cartoons, comics, film, video games, and latin-american folklore. Apart from working on his own artwork, he also curates art exhibitions for various galleries around the world.
