In the infinite wisdom of Reel Big Fish, I think I’ll have myself a beer! There will be many a beer drunk over the next thirty nine days, before Five Points Fest opens its door for the third year, but none more special than the newly revealed Strawberry Guava Sour beer that has been brewed by Brooklyn based Kings County Brewers Collective (KCBC) for Five Points Fest, with New York artist JCORP designing the special beer can art for this release!
You may recall last year when Czee13 designed the artwork for the Smoked Guru beer at Five Points Fest with KCBC (pictured below). At the 2018 Five Points Fest, Five Points Fest hosted an an epic street art showdown, sponsored by Lagunitas, to determine which artist should win the honour of designing this year’s KCBC can. JCORP defeated a vast array of artists to finally beat world renowned artist L’Amour Supreme with her original take on the iconic NAGNAGNAG design following their intense street art battle!
With the win in 2018, JCORP earned her deserved chance to work with KCBC and designed the collectible can design. Below we have the concept art for this JCORP x KCBC collaboration. This beer is going to be so damn cute, that I can already feel the cuteness explode in my mouth on Saturday June 1st. We can’t wait to see the final label in all its kawaii colours! There will be another live art showdown at Five Points Fest 2019, but the only way to see it in person is by purchasing yourself a ticket to Five Points!
