Fresh off the press release, AllRightsReserved hit us up with some fantastic news and possibly a bank-breaking news. After rounding off its debut exhibition《MEET VERDY GALLERY, AllRightsReserved 2nd《MEET___ PROJECT》will team up with Japanese artist Yu Nagaba to launch《MEET YU NAGABA GALLERY – I’M YOUR VENUS》early December, presenting his 1st ever sculpture artwork and original artwork in the theme of Goddess Venus, and a series of limited-edition collectables.
22 November 2019, Hong Kong – Established in 2003, Hong Kong based creative studio AllRightsReserved (ARR) endeavours to reach out and work with both local and international artists. Last week (Nov 15), AllRightsReserved debuted their latest unprecedented creative project《MEET___PROJECT》, featuring Japanese acclaimed graphic designer and street artist Verdy as the first exhibition《MEET VERDY GALLERY》. The 2nd《MEET___PROJECT》will be collaborating with popular Japanese artist Yu Nagaba (長場雄) to present《MEET YU NAGABA GALLERY – I’M YOUR VENUS》, his first overseas solo exhibition to showcase his sculpture artwork, for all his fans and art lovers to have a closer look and enjoy in Hong Kong!

《 MEET YU NAGABA GALLERY – I’M YOUR VENUS 》 is Yu Nagaba’s first overseas solo exhibition showcasing his original artworks, where they all derived from his “ACE HOTEL” Collection. Ace Hotel is a
chain of stylish and hip hotels located in the different metropolis including New York, Seattle, London and Portland. He created this series when he stayed at Ace Hotel in New York, where he started drawing on a complimentary memo paper of ACE Hotel. The original idea was to create a fictional story of an imaginary tourist at the hotel, they then become simple yet chic sketches that pay tributes to his beloved classic movie scenes. These memo sketches were enlarged to canvas artworks later.
2nd《MEET___PROJECT》presents《MEET YU NAGABA GALLERY – I’M YOUR VENUS》with 1st ever 3D sculpture artwork Goddess VENUS as the theme, the exhibition will run from 10 Dec to 16 Dec.

A series of limited-edition collectables have been extended from the《MEET YU NAGABA GALLERY – I’M YOUR VENUS》exhibition and will be launched on the same day when the exhibition opens. They will be available both on-site and online from 10 December, while stocks last.

Yu Nagaba
Illustrator and artist. Born in Tokyo in 1976. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, Department of Design. Activities stretch over a wide range of fields, including magazines, books, advertisements, and collaborations with various brands. Previous works include collaborations with UNIQLO, ASICS, G-SHOCK,
BEAMS, as well as illustrations for various clients such as Magazine House, RIMOWA, Technics, Spotify, Universal Music, and Monocle, both domestically and internationally.
