Devils Head Productions released two new figures this week the Unearthed Bodhisattva Alavaka and the Bodhisattva Alavaka Dorje. Discovered in the Himalayan Alps, this Unearthed Bodhisattva Alavaka, a relic of the past comes with both demon and Bodhisattva heads and final victims skull.
There were three types of Unearthed Bodhisattva Alavaka released. Type A, Type B and Type C. Each Flesh colored vinyl with layered paints. All made in Japan. Each retailed for $100/£67. Unfortunately all sold out on Boxing Day.
The Dorje can be defined (in Tibetan Buddhism) as a representation of a thunderbolt in the form of a short double trident or scepter, symbolizing the male aspect of the spirit and held during invocations and prayers.
Again there were three types of the Bodhisattva Alavaka Dorje made. Using black vinyl with green, red, brown, white, blue and charcoal paints. Each sold out for $35/£24.
