First of all congratulations to the D3C collective! D3C’s HAKKEI 白景 lands a exhibition at BEAMS! Over the year, D3C has cemented itself in the art collectable scene. The hard work has paid off as the first solo exhibition of the master tailor and graphic design artist”<D.3.C>” Because of the epidemic, the artist started creating hand-stitched plants. He is proficient in using old-fashioned military uniform fabrics to splice colour and design together to create unique plants with different appearances.
Many unreleased works will be available at the exhibition, including limited colour merchandise by BEAMS. In addition, during the weekend WORKSHOP, the artist will use Beams cartons to make flower pots and socks to create personalized succulent plants. We featured HAKKEI 白景 brand HERE a couple of months back where we had our mouths wide open and instantly loved D3C art, where they upcycle using fabric into designer art collectables giving their take on Pachypodium Gracilius and every single release so far has been sold out faster than Usain Bolt doing a 100meters! Below is a little teaser of the exhibition at BEAMS. WAIT, that’s not all! BEAMS will also be hosting a Workshop with D3C.

精通圖像建構與裁縫的藝術家 < D.3.C > @dango_3_color 首度舉辦個展—將於BEAMS 台北 8/12(五) – 8/21(日)及BEAMS台中新光中港8/26(五)-9/4(日)巡迴展出。

因疫情期間宅家開啟了手縫植物創作，擅長運用老式軍裝布料來進行拼色發想，目前也持續在創作各式不同樣貌的植物。
本次展出< D.3.C >許多未公開植物作品，販售限量植物作品其中還有BEAMS限定配色，並於週末展開店鋪限定WORK SHOP，運用BEAMS紙箱製作花器及使用襪子縫紉出屬於自己樣貌的多肉植物。
