In the latest issue of Clutter Magazine, Nick Curtis had the privilege to interview the lovely Camilla d’Errico! A few months ago Kidrobot & J*RYU announced the upcoming series Archane Divination 3″ Dunny series, read about it HERE. and one of the artist included in the series is the amazing Camilla d’Errico. Nick got the chance to pick Camilla’s brains about the series and also shared the illustrations of her Dunny designs as well as her concept behind her designs. Arcane Divination is the first multi-artist Dunny series since 2014, and quite frankly, we CANNOT fucking wait for this to drop. Curated by J*RYU, Jesse has pulled together an awesome set of artists for this Dunny Series. Camilla d’Errico has a certain unique style that will certainly look great transferred to a Dunny platform.
J*RYU has described this Dunny Series as “A journey into the world of Tarot”. Sounds dark & mysterious. Just the way we like our coffee, beer & chocolate. Arcane Divination will be released in early 2017, and we’ll bring you further details as they become known.
Camilla provided a wee quote for us to use in the blog post, regarding her inclusion in this Dunny Series…
“Having the opportunity to work on a Kid Robot series, specifically the dunnies, with Jryu was unbelievable. The cherry on top of this creative sundae was the tarot card theme which I loved beyond words. Since I was a teen I’ve been using tarots so this series really struck a cord with me. It brought me back to one of the earliest memories of magic and mystical energies that I can remember. Creating these dunnies was an incredible synergy of youthful fascinations and adult admirations. I hope that people enjoy the series and that it brings a bit of the mystical into their lives.Camilla d’Errico
