One small step for mankind! One giant step for Astro Kabu the space explorer who crashed on earth. Survived fusing herself into a turnip and now is trying to get back into space! David Florez of Playing Mantis Toys caught attention via Instagram over the weekend. There’s something about the clear resin version that pulls out all the detail on Astro Turnip / Astro Kabu. Based in Medellín / Colombia David has been pumping out resin releases for some time now and establishing himself in the resin circles and now hoping for a soft vinyl release in the near future!
Astro Turnip is not David’s first release as David’s fabulous T.O.M Tiny OverKill Machine made a buzz too and one for our collection along with Astro Turnip.
