Drawing inspiration from clouds and encaustic window surrounds comes 78JO’s BallBallBird for Normally Abnormal Series at K11 藝術聯展 illusfairHK pop-up show. Each BallBallBird is encrusted in beautiful patterns all by the hands of 78JO. Possibly the cleanest and stylish BallBallBirds to date and to top off the series 78JO has made a canvas covered in wooden mosaic blocks to match the series.
Window tiles and the concept is taken from the eight-piece tile window of the traditional house. When I was young, I would still look up at the sky, look at the view outside the window, and when I was older, I was trapped in the four walls and buried Looking at every little window and the color of the sky, do you think where that white cloud has disapeared to?
畫作名為”窗花磚” ，概念取自傳統大宅的八片瓦窗花。小時候還會抬頭看看天空， 看看窗外景物，人大了就被困在四面牆埋首工作。 看著每一片小窗花和天空的顏色， 你會想起那一片久違了的白雲嗎？
另外以窗和雲做主題繪製了幾隻波波雀同場展出。 有興趣的朋友可以到場參觀， 謝謝
