I’ve been setting up a collaborative solution for a release calendar for a while, it’s a slow process due to being busy at work but I think it has potential. Hopefully I can share soon! Essentially you join the calendar and add any drops you’re following, others will do the same and hopefully build an extensive calendar that doesn’t require one person to keep up to date.
I’ve seen a couple of Touma pieces recently, surprisingly a few licensed products.
Regarding older pieces I think it all depends who’s looking and how much they want the piece. There’s always going to be a market for classic figures and the Knuckle Bear is a recognisable platform so I think it’ll hold it’s value, but again I think it’s right place right time if you ever decided to sell.Anything 3A stands like Bambi on ice!
I’ve had a few nasty shelf dives and the 3A figures themselves seem to come out fine.. but they take out others on their way down!😰Very cool! I haven’t seen any custom Mini Boglins around, but they seem like a good platform for it! I say go for it 💥
I prefer it when the box has a signature / sketch on it as opposed to the figure. It’s tricky to get a clean signature on a toy and most of the time the ink fades or bleeds into the vinyl.
In terms of value, I feel that back in the KR Forum days a signature on a toy felt like a much bigger deal – with lots of new artists entering the game and existing artists doing a lot more releases, more and more pieces are coming signed as standard.
