What happens when two DTA winners collide? THIS HAPPENS! Sorry for shouting but oh my gosh. DTA Artist of the year Jon Paul Kaiser takes on Huck Gee’s award-winning Blank. Let’s face it, JPK was always gonna rip apart any platform. Let this be an example of using a platform to its best without re-sculpting or adding extra things to the existing canvas and giving it a different look altogether.
The Heretic is ancient, his arcane armour powering him several lifetimes longer than he should have lasted. Most of his organic self is lost now; only the remains of his skull, filled with optics and sensors, pokes out from beneath his bronze helmet. His dread gaze ever watchful for the pursuers who have chased him for centuries – JPK
I wanted the armour portions to look ancient and elaborate so I took inspiration from samurai and English plate armour for the decorations – JPK
We are sure the owner of this custom is over the moon with this custom and rightly so. Nice to see JPK use the RE:Blank platform. We hope to see more RE:Blank customs in the near future.
If you’re like us and you want something this fabulous, you can get in contact with JPK via Email to get on to his commission list as he has 1 more space left for the upcoming month. Tell him The Toy Chronicle sent you 🙂 Don’t forget to check out JPK on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
