Seriouslysillyk (Kathleen) has joined the line up for Sergey Safonov‘s up and coming “Re-imagining MoonFox” in Russia which should start late Feb 2015. Seriouslysillyk Version of Sergey’s lil Moon Wanderer – the Moon Cat. Pulled on my personal heart strings as she tells me the story behind it.

This Custom is called “Rainbow Bridge” and was actually inspired by the sudden Passing of our fellow Toy Community Member, Roman, who also was a dear Friend of Sergey…Only a Week earlier, he became a proud Father to a beautiful Boy and we talked just a couple Days before this tragic Event about his Bliss on Instagram…

No only a vibrant colour and fantastic idea the custom Moon Cat comes in 9 parts, held in place with Magnets… YES magnets how cool is that? such a cool idea being able to detach it from the waves! the custom stands 8.75 Inches tall when fully assembled. A lot of hours must of gone into this custom and not one part was air bushed!

I really dig the sculpted eyes and the whole new character. The steady transition of colours used do no clash but pops out all the curves and lines of the platform highlighting her sculpting skill. Nice touch adding the rainbow unicorns and I love the waves on the custom too one magical custom.

It is truly wonderful what Kathleen has done for this custom as it takes me back to the conversations I used to have with Roman, all the non-sense rambles, whats caught his eye, toy photography talk and 2015 plans to come to Toycon… this custom would make Roman Shevchenko proud. On 19.10.2014, our beloved friend Roman Shevchenko aka AlPred passed away. It was heart attack. Thank you all for your support these tough days. This is very important for his family.
