Ok, as an FYI, it looks like Galerie Perrotin have new stock of the KAWS Companion Open Edition available. If you’re looking to pick these up, then you should head on over to their store HERE.
Retail value is $200 per Companion OE. Ok, Galerie Perrotin has these at 230euro (when you add the VAT) which is around $244 with today’s currency rate. If you’re looking to buy these to try make any money, please don’t try selling them for $300. If you’ve decided to pick them up for $244 from GP, that is your choice. For all we know there may be another drop at another gallery for $200 per Companion. We are just helping to point you in the right direction of these releases. We would personally wait until the right drop came along that was $200, but we fully understand that paying an extra X amount of $$ to secure your Companions is the thing you’d like to do. We think our problem lies with flippers trying to buy at the slightly inflated Euro cost and adding their own $$$. Fuck flippers, man. Be patient. Your Companions will come soon enough at a better price than most are offering.
