In recent years, I have been making the theme of human desires.
People are influenced by various desires in their lives, and sometimes they are drowned in greed and ruined, and even their lives are lost.
However, I think that the appearance of burning life and shining faithfully to desires is the original beautiful way of life of living things. – Kamerian
カメリアン solo exhibition「FLASH」
展示のタイトルであるFLASHには、『閃光』『瞬間』という意味の他に『虚飾』『けばけばしさ』『性器をチラリと見せる』という意味がある。
私は近年、人間の持つ欲望をテーマに製作している。
人は生活の中で様々な欲にその行動を左右され時には欲に溺れ破滅し、命すら落とすこともある。
しかし欲望に忠実に命を燃やし輝かせる姿は生き物本来の美しき生き様なのではないかと私は考える。
今回の展示では様々な欲望に支配され狂い輝く生き物の姿を作品にした。
