Empty Spaces becomes complete when both sculptures are displayed together. Intended to complement each other, Fluid and his surfboard fill the blank canvas of Flake’s skate ramp like a puzzle piece, and an empty space becomes whole.
It has been a long time since Fluid drifted down a wave and Flake lost himself in a concrete pipe. But bandaged from life’s hardships they are finally back in their elements, wondering why they ever let go of the things they love the most.
Sculpted in our premium vinyl and resin, Empty Spaces comprises two unique figures, Ocean and Transition, which tell a story about filling the gaps in our souls. Available in one introspective edition, the duo comes in tranquil coastal colors that evoke a quiet, foggy morning in Southern California.
