It’s HERE! We are SUPER pumped to say that you can now back the Behemoth Metal Sloth by Xpanded Universe on Kickstarter!! F to the YEAH! The guys at Xpanded Universe have been working hard & long with sculptors – James Groman and Scott Martin Thomas to bring this beast of a Behemoth to Designer Toy life, and boy have they done a great job of it too!
It wouldn’t be a Behemoth at any other size smaller than 13inches, right? That is why the Behemoth Metal Sloth will stand OVER 13inches tall! Current sculpt is almost 17inches!!! HUGE!
The Kickstarter kicked off last night, and has already hit over $8000 of the $12000 target! That is seriously impressive! The campaign will run for 60 days, so should end in mid-March with the expectation that the Behemoth will be ready for release in November 2020 (maybe DesignerCon….)
The Behemoth Metal Sloth is priced at $400 for the unpainted blank Behemoth. The colour is yet to be decided. You can back a custom painted Behemoth by either Klav9 ($1000), Mark Nagata ($1000) or James Groman ($1500) too!
There are also a number of smaller rewards to back – from $1 through to $60. Which ranges from a header card shout out to a vinyl lucky metal sloth. There is a comic book that details that origins of Metal Sloth that can be backed for $25.
