Before we start, we would love for our very own IBreakToys aka our shining star “Lisa Rae Hansen” to have her first production vinyl toy and super happy that the Designer Toy Collective are starting a crowdfunding to make vinyl toy happen! Great choice having Lisa’s Kyoot character turned into vinyl! Designer Toy Collective and Lisa have our backing already.
“Up Up Away Kyoot” is a self appointed super hero for all things cute.
Up Up Away Kyoot by I Break Toys – A Designer Toy Collective Production
“Up Up Away Kyoot” is a self-appointed super hero fighting for all things cute. With a homemade costume, a K sewn on his chest, he climbed up onto the biggest box he could find, and blew the biggest bubble he could blow. All in the hopes that he would take off into the sky in search of action and adventure.
Created by artist Lisa Rae Hansen aka I Break Toys – http://www.ibreaktoys.com/ – Up Up Away Kyoot is 4inch tall on his own but a full 7inch once perched upon his trusty box. The original resin is shown below and this Vinyl reproduction will be an exact replica. There will be a Kickstarter exclusive colorway in Green/Black and additional colorways announced as the campaign progresses.
Both Lisa & The Designer Toy Collective are incredibly excited about this project and are very confident in our ability to bring it to life. All we need is help from you to get started!
You may recall Kyoot, when Lisa made Kyoot custom for Clutter Gallery “Kaleidoscope of Kyoot” show. Lisa scope of imagination on point with fresh ideas. Up Up Away Kyoot reminds us of our childhood days when we used to use our coats as a cape and pretend we were superheroes around the playground.
Designer Toy Collective is launching our inaugural Kickstarter campaign to help Lisa Rae Hansen (ibreaktoys) produce her first vinyl production toy… Kyoot! Up up Away! Designer Toy Collective is the power of 6 brands instead of just 1. Our cumulative knowledge, experience and backgrounds rival that of the larger toy brands. But with one big difference: Our mission is simple: grow the designer toy industry. 6 companies — 1 focusWhen:Tuesday June 13th at 10 am Eastern / 3pm GMT ; Campaign runs for 30 daysWhy:Designer Toy Collective plans to democratise the toy production process giving independent artists an opportunity afforded usually just a few. No corporate interest. Just nice people helping amazing artists make great toys!
Expect incentives for backing the project, which will include pins and prints as well as many more no matter which tier you choose to back.
