After we covered Peter Kato x MyPlasticHeart Bedtime Bunny show last week, Kyle Kirwan sent us further details on his custom for the show we wanted to show you guys. Firstly because it is dope. Secondly, as a thank you to Kyle for sending us an email with all the details. We need more folk like Kyle to send The Toy Chronicle information on their releases. Hint, hint.
Anyway back to the awesome custom Bedtime Bunny by Kyle. Titled ‘The Conmen‘. The custom is based off the Tortoise and the Hare legendary story, but messes with it a bit and casts the protagonists as traveling conmen swindling unsuspecting victims across the land.

Kyle has taken the Peter Kato Bedtime Bunny and added his own hand-made tortoise, along with a heck load of accessories. Really bringing to life this custom for the MyPlasticHeart show. We really like what Kyle has done with this piece.

Kyle is currently not based out of anywhere at the moment – his girlfriend, his dog and Kyle are taking a slow route to Designer-Con in a 24ft RV named Sandwich. Along the way they’re hitting up as many designer toy stores and galleries as they can and writing them up on their travel blog (http://daretopee.wordpress.com). Which is pretty damn cool, right!
