Thân Trọng Hiển remember the name as we predict Vietnam based artist Thân aka ToxicRat of Yuurei Studio will be making a name for himself in the scene. When you take into consideration his first sofubi customizing project which took about a week and a half to sculpt and paint. The character was originally designed by Sky Toy and Thân gave it a new lick of paint inspired by the vintage kaiju posters of Japan, especially Godzilla ones hence the name Kizg (king) Kaiju. We love the extra depth that Thân has given it, especially around the head and scales.
The colour scheme for us works so well and hopefully, Sky Toy will produce a similar production edition to KIZG KAIJU. It’s a one-off, made for Taipei Toy Festival 台北國際玩具創作大展 2019. Included with a signed sketch postcard and sticker set. Booth C06 and C07.
