From MicroBeasts to DiamondTrooper to customs the list goes on, Frank Montano over the years has produced some bangers but last week we saw Frank Montano level up with his “EL LADRÓN”, It’s quite possible behind the scenes teasers and video of the process leading up the full revel of EL LADRON has made us appreciate it even more, but no doubt its one of Frank’s finest releases to date. As Frank states, this project is only the first design part of the larger 6-inch lineup of a FeastLife character, Now EL LADRÓN can be finally unleashed into the world as an art collectable. In true Frank style, the paint app and style has FEASTStudio all over it.
Ever since I could remember toys and cartoons were passions of mine. When I was a kid I spent a lot of my time drawing cartoon characters and collecting those toys. To me, seeing both representations of the cartoon and toy design was the most fascinating part. Now I finally get to share my newest character El Ladrón as a 3D sculpture. As a member of the Mobile Defense Unit (MDU), Ladron has first-hand knowledge of FEAST CORP’s inner workings. He was the rising star, people were starting to take notice. The problem? Ladron didn’t join FEAST CORP for mere acknowledgement. He joined because he has a mission and FEAST is a stepping stone. However, a secret uncovered accidentally in a FEAST lab, has Ladrón running.
Desperate for money and with something to offer, Ladron seeks out BlizzardBeast and Special K. They have a choice to make: can they trust Ladron? No one truly knows where his loyalties lie.
After all, Ladron is Spanish for Thief.
This hand crafted 6 inch sculpture is made from high pressurized polyurethane resin.
Edition of 15 figures which include a FeastStudio authenticity card.
Each piece is hand painted so some subtle difference may appear in each final product.
