Legend says that a fantastical realm known as Rainbow Land will open itself up to our world once every 10 years so that its inhabitants can come in to replenish the energy of all the colors we experience and enjoy every day, thats right! colors aren’t as permanent as you think, you saw what happened in the 50’s when they came late, everything was black and white! and then they over compensated for their mistake in the 60’s lol Any who! One would have to be extremely fortunate to find one of these hidden entrances as they always show up at a random places.
Lucky for us, one of the toy community’s very own, Ms. Kendra Thomas, happened to stumble upon one of the pathways at the end of a rainbow while enjoying a hike through the great pacific north west. I was excited to find out that Kendra had created a series using Superplastic’s Janky platform to chronical her experience with these adorable little creatures. There are four total pieces, two of which are Deer and two will be Unicorns. Each design will come in two different colorways a beautifully soft pastel rainbow and an amazingly vibrant rainbow. All are completely hand painted with care and in the case of the Unicorns, the horns and the tails were hand sculpted. If you’re fast enough, you’ll get a chance to bring one of these mythical critters into your collection!
