On the back of the sellout ToyCon UK version of the DMS Octeapus, comes the Deep Blue colourway of this Mechanimal. The evolution of Lunartik mini tea comes from the deep mind of DMS. We cannot figure out how the hell DMS has made that kind of texture on the tentacles. Hopefully the secret is safe with him, we don’t want others to follow suit.
Standing at around 5.5″ tall x 7″ wide (depending on the positioning of the tentacles) and featuring moveable, changeable magnetic tentacles, these are pieces to play with and pose.
A pressure cast resin base and cockpit, piloted by the Lunartik mini tea vinyl toy, featuring DMS’ signature hand sculpted tentacles.
Hand painted and weathered, complete with clear acrylic display rod. Personally I would of liked to see the tentacles have a different paint job to bring out the detail more. But saying that its still a sick piece and will sell in seconds for sure. Lets see the Mechanimal series expand sooner rather than later.
