We’ve seen the resin, seen the new vinyl editions but we didn’t expect to see custom Kidrobot Dunny in the form of Quailstudio’s Ghost Cowly. We can’t remember the last time Quail Studio’s did a custom on any platform mind a custom Dunny. Well here is its a Ghost Cowly Dunny, best part it can be yours.
The 3″ custom Dunny, it is based on a “Kronk Mutant Ape” from the 2012 Kidrobot “Apocalypse” Dunny Series.
The head and tail are hand casted in PU resin, the paint on the originally Dunny was completely striped and repainted with a strong cream-white lacquer to match the coluor of the custom parts, mouth and eyes were hand painted with an ultra gloss black resin, in total this toy has 6 points of articulation.
Below are few pictures of the process here is a picture of the 3D painted model after lots of sanding and primer paint that I used as my master to create the silicone mood.below is the homemade mold for the head and the tail.
