This week George takes charge of the latest episode of the Marsham Toy Hour podcast! Gary & Theresa are there, don’t fret to hold Mr Gaspar’s hand as they welcome the DesignerCon maestro – Ben Goretsky as they discuss all things DCon 2019!!
I’m happy to hear in this episode that DCon will move up a week earlier next year. I’m hoping hotel and travel will be cheaper since it’s not so close to Thanksgiving. Also looking forward to Saturday and Sunday after hours events so we can hang and meet with artists that we mostly talk with through online.
I was planning a last minute (1st trip) to dcon this year after NYCC And quickly ran into hefty speed bumps (last minute) planning didn’t help…but hopefully next year can be my first and the plans to move it up 1 week earlier and taking advantage of that extended weekend will benefit.
It’s funny when Ben is complaining about fake news but it’s how info is spread in today’s news world. Yes, facts and corroboration have gone to the wayside, in favor of get it out first, right or wrong. It’s definitely nice to have a main company exist that pays the bills so fun stuff can happen! Looking forward to DCON moving a week earlier next year.
Glad to hear i’m not the only one who wasn’t a huge fan of the current dcon dates and is excited it’s moving to earlier in the month 🙂 I can’t believe it’s less than a month away. Can’t wait to see everyone!
