CrowPickleParticipantShort-time lurker first time poster here,
I’ve been a fan of designer toys for over 5 years but have only recently really been paying close attention to everything this artform has to offer, and it seems like Colorado is building up a designer toy scene. Back in May we had the 2nd Bombastic Plastic show at Spectra Art Gallery (organized by Neil Ewing), In July we had a Bomb Shark Custom show at the Vape Loft curated by Mr Mars Studios, and again in August there was a Solo Josh Mayhem show at the Crown Collection in Denver.
I’m really excited to see more of these designer toy shows happening in my home town but I rarely catch wind of what’s going on until the very last minute! Does anybody know of other upcoming shows in Colorado or know of a resource where I can stay updated on Colorado toy events?

CrowPickleParticipantYes, go on? All I get when Googling is a bunch of REI equipment and Instagram only shows Coachella campers when I search “tent Crew”.

TTC BeardKeymasterTent Crew!!
Although it looks like Crow Pickle has forgotten his part he played at Five Points Fest. Is this like in Hook where pan forgets he is Pan and his powers disappear?
You have to remember, Crow Pickle!

KyleParticipantBut on topic it’s great to hear that the big CO is growing the scene! How involved is KR in any of it? Would be rad to get them playing in their own backyard so to speak!

CrowPickleParticipantAll of those shows I mentioned were independent of KidRobot (I think). I haven’t really seen any KR promoted stuff ever since they shut the doors on their storefront 5 years ago, but I haven’t been paying close attention until recently.

NickParticipantI’m interested to hear more about Mile High Sofubi. I know there’s a lot of controversy around it, being american made sofubi. The Marsham Crew talked about it a little bit on this week’s episode but I’d love to hear more if anyone has any more input.

CrowPickleParticipantYeah Nick, that’s actually one of the reasons I made this post. Soft vinyl coming to the USA?! AND it’s in Denver! I emailed the guy (Paul) to confirm that he’s actually located in Denver since there’s almost no information on the website. He replied and seems very nice.
I might try to make a trip over to his studio some day soon. If I do, I’ll make sure to take lots of pics and blab about it on here.

Micah youngParticipantI’ve always wanted to go to Colorado and now if I go at least I know I could find some designer toys there!!
