Do you guys recall, G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x AF1 & Travis Scott x AJ1 figure over 3 years ago? Minishi Studios gave some clarification of how G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x AF1 & Travis Scott x AJ1 came to fruition! It turns out to be based/ripped upon Minishi studios/ own character, Minishi Boy! Minishi had no intention of the Travis Scott and interchangeable shoes as well. They added those features along with the ripped off a render from Minishi. Fast forward to the present day,
Capturing the essence of his collaborative work and creative vision. This figure is inspired by Minishi Studios favorite Korean Idol — G-Dragon, inspiring them with his work & craft.
What a journey it has been for this figure. Seeing them being released, without my knowledge from other factories being produced at more quantities than I could ever afford.
Had to make changes to the design, then getting my shipment lost in transit during the whole Covid situation.
What a journey it was and I’m finally glad to be able to launch GD Boy. Not your usual dragon for the Dragon year.

They even went to lengths to change some of the renders and erase the watermark that Minishi added on the original renders which you can see below.
