JAMES GROMAN x INSTINCTOY KING KORPSE EPISODE: ZERO GOLDEN Version

SMASHING its way into the New Year is JAMES GROMAN x INSTINCTOY’s KING KORPSE EPISODE: ZERO GOLDEN Version! the mighty KING KORPSE gets the Midas touch from INSTINCTOY for the annual ” NEW YEAR PROJECT” This year the collaborations are with KWONG, CHINO LAM, and T9G, now James’s KING KORPSE doused with gold and a black wash to bring out all the finer details!

It’s been 6 years since the birth of KING KORPSE, the first INSTINCTOY collaborative work with JAMES in 2016. This work is inspired by the original look of the character before turning into KING KORPSE. It was finally completed last year and is now available as the latest work. This work is also scheduled to be released as a fully coloured model in the first half of this year, but to commemorate this work, it is included in part of the line-up for the NEW YEAR PROJECT.

With an impressive muscular body and body ratio, in order for this work to have the same mobility as KING KORPSE, a new joint is added in the torso. When he was alive, to treat his open wounds the left arm is wrapped with snakeskin, and the right leg is tied with tree bark. These are the ingenuities put into the design of EPISODE ZERO. The EROSION MONSTER LIQUID, which eroded the heart of KING KORPSE and brought him back to life, is quietly attached to the back of the young KING KORPSE. 2016年にJAMESさんとの初のコラボ作品”KING KORPSEの誕生から今年で6年・・・、KING KORPSEになる前の原点の姿をイメージした作品がついに去年完成し最新作として登場です。こちらの作品もフル彩色モデルを今年の上半期に発売予定ですが、記念すべき第1作目がNEW YEAR PROJECTにラインナップです。

筋肉隆々の若々しい姿を描いた大迫力の造形イメージを壊す事なく、KING KORPSEと同じく胴体の可動を実現する為に腹部に新たな可動構造を加えた最新モデルとなります。KING KORPSEと同じ負傷箇所の左腕には大蛇の皮を巻き、右足には木の皮を縄で縛り付けて治療する造形表現にもこだわりました。生き絶えたKING KORPSEの心臓に侵食し、命を吹き返すきっかけとなったEROSION MONSTERのLIQUIDは、若かりし頃にはひっそりと背中に張り付いております。細部の造形で物語を連想頂けるデザインに仕上げておりますので、各部に是非ともご注目下さい。

NEW YEAR PROJECT 2022的第二件作品！

2016年與JAMES藝術家合作的作品”KING KORPSE”，誕生以來至今已經第六年・・・，這次的作品發想是在轉變成KING KORPSE前的原始樣貌，

在去年年底完成了作品，而作為最新作品在這次企劃中登場。這款作品的彩色版也預計在今年上半年度推出，為紀念作品發表，這次也歡迎他加入我們的NEW YEAR PROJECT企劃裡。

飽滿的肌肉顯得很有魄力，且也不失整體的造型比例，為了讓作品與KING KORPSE一樣有身軀的可動，在腹部採用了新的可動構造。而KING KORPSE受傷的手，設計了蛇皮繃帶，右腳則用麻繩將木皮綁緊的造型，這樣的治療設計都是作品中的巧思。侵蝕KING KORPSE而倖存的EROSION MONSTER LIQUID，則是回到了年少時在背上寄生。作品的細部造型都可以聯想到很多故事，敬請欣賞每個部位。

生產數量與CHAMP GOLDEN一樣是55個。販售價格為66,000日圓。NEW YEAR PROJECT的抽選活動預計在下週二2月10日傍晚開始報名活動。敬請期待。
