EUROPE stand up! The first one of its kind to reach Catalonia. Right in the heart of art will be Expo Toys Barcelona 2019. Organised by David from our friends at Zona Toys, Sergio from Vuitbits and last but not least Javi from NastythePlastic, one of the biggest Art Toys events in Spain it’s gonna start very soon. Artwork from all over the world under one roof the list includes artists from Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, USA or Canada. The list is huge.
Expo Toys Barcelona will take place from Thursday, May 23rd to Friday, June 14th. A unique exhibition of national and international Art Toy artists for every taste.
Art Toys in Barcelona
Art Toys had a certain impact in the city of Barcelona a few years ago. As everything that has to do with the design, they found in the city a good welcome and a large number of followers, both collectors and artists.
Consell 81 Gallery will gather the largest exhibition of Art toys made to the date in this city. We will have the most representative artists of the movement in the country and a careful selection of international artists from countries such as Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, USA or Canada. The list is huge!
Not only that. During the time of the exhibition, in the same gallery various related workshops will be taught so that all the fans who want to delve a bit more into the universe of the Art Toys have the opportunity to do it. 3D modeling will be handled by Moyupi. Nastytheplastic Javi will teach us how to make two-sided silicone molds. To conclude, Cova Orgaz will show us how to make sculptures with cardboard. Soon we will confirm another workshop more.
Expo Toys Barcelona is a unique opportunity to learn more about the Art Toys movement. You will discover all styles enjoying incredible pieces, most of them created exclusively for the exhibition.
