Well, well, well! What do we have here? Quite possibly our two favourite customised Coarse Omens that we’ve seen. Probably ever. That’s not the beer speaking either, cos we saw these originally when we were stone-cold sober this week. Done by the ever-delightful MaloApril in California. If we didn’t know any better, we would say these were production pad-printing releases. The delicate, clear, thick-lined paintwork is phenomenal. Really impressive. Sometimes artists get it wrong with their paint jobs, but that’s not the case here. Absolutely smashed it out of the omen park! Just soak them in….
Our current Coarse Omen collection is in storage at the minute, but seeing these two custom Omen makes me want to drive to our unit and bring all the beautiful Omen back to East London. It’s a wonderful platform created by Mark & Sven, but when artists like April get their mitts on them they turn them into something beautifully unique. Amazing!
