It’s that time of the month where Collect and Display have their annual artist series. This month its MAp-MAp the shabby headed man from the Midlands that draws on his memories of endless adventures in the British Countryside and evenings in front of a Super Nintendo Entertainment Systems to sculpt together his thoughts and feeling about the world around him.
Their are 5 in this exclusive series, first off and main man Giggs.
Meet Giggs, The River Gang’s leader and younger brother of Turner he is the calm force behind the pointy sticks and dirt clods.
Jojo – The worrying kind heart of River Gang he just likes to sit about with friends, he’s easily swayed to along with the next big plan but still squeels with every breaking branch or duff of a foot step.
Meet Wolfe, the slingshot sniper. He can wait up a tree for a really really long time, waiting to hail some pebble justice when it’s needed. But when out of a tree and with the group he can talk a little too much, with ever unfiltered thought falling from his mouth.
Meet Yori, the one everyone kind of wants to be. She doesn’t demand to be listened to and seem happy to smoke in the back of the hideout, but drops some warm sage like thoughts when they’re needed.
Meet Turner, the older brother of Giggs and sometime non member of the group.He tends to think all of the River Gangs strict codes are silly. With any fierce gang rivalries being a bit of fun, and a great excuse to practice the wrestling moves he watched last night!
All the gang are custom 3″ Dunny using polymer clay and acrylic paint with a gorgeous finish.
