Talking of artists that deserve their own production release, we have PJ Constable knocking out another stupendously awesome custom Janky this week. Taking on the Manly Moth, this colourful custom has our eyes spellbound with the colour & details in the moth wings of this custom.
Having spent 40+ hours on this custom, PJ decided the best way to open this up to fans was via a social media auction on his Instagram page HERE. With a starting bid of $100, you can get involved with this auction by placing a bid on the Manly Moth picture on PJ’s Instagram post using the button below. Bids end at 7pm GMT on Thursday 30/01.
I recently finished this custom Janky and it’s the first time in a while I made something that wasn’t commissioned or for a show and it was a nice chance to really dive into what I was doing and flex a little bit without the pressures of pleasing anyone else. I intend to put out more work with this in mind this year and create more for me and hopefully rekindle that spark I once had and strengthen my love for toy making.PJ Constable, January 2020
