Lulubell Toys kicks off the ‘Grody Guest’ series with Blurble One! What are the ‘Grody Guest’ series? Well, it’s an ongoing series featuring a wide variety of guest artists from around the globe painting Grody Shogun sculpts. To start things off Mike aka Blurble One, a long time friend of Lulubell Toys. He’s a talented painter, illustrator, customizer, resin caster, sofubi toy maker, husband, father. A perfect start for a perfect concept;
Meet the CMYK Monsters. Blurble One drew inspiration from the frequent process of changing his ink cartridges out in his printer;
“I have always been intrigued by the process of how these 4 colors can make up all the colors in the color process for printing. After the ink explosion on my hand, I decided to try the same on the Monsters. I loved the look of the first one I did, and I decided to make them each unique but with the same CMYK color explosion to them.”
The “CMYK Monsters” are hand painted on glow in the dark vinyl, and are sold blind. 6 different head and bodies combinations are possible. Available this Thursday, April 25th at 10am Pacific Time for $50 each.
