Sometimes we are happy to see an artist knock something quick out, but our favourite is when an artist puts some time & effort into a meaningful backstory like Big C has done with his latest custom art piece. Taking on Luke Chueh’s Prisoner XL, Big C entitled “Prisoner of His Own Perception” is an exceptional concept, executed beautifully!
This as a prequel to Luke’s original piece, as many people escape their perspective by using drugs. They escape one prison only to walk right into another one. I have done my best to champion the causes of mental health awareness and suicide awareness throughout my career (specifically the veteran suicide epidemic)
He felt the burning pain in his back. He couldn’t tell it was the burning sun, because he carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, and it cast a large shadow. He sat alone and confused, crying in the dark, until he couldn’t take it any more. He was a PRISONER OF HIS OWN PERSPECTIVE.
