This coming weekend in the great city of Norwich, Toy Think Tank have organised a wondersome gallery show to tickle your b-movie interests! With a title so extraordinary, you’re not going to want to miss this one. Attack of the Creature from Beyond the Forbidden Island brings together some of our favourite artists based in the UK and a little afar to create art & custom toys paying tribute to the Heroes, Heroines, Villains, Villainesses and Creatures of Cult & B Movies.
Toy Think Tank will open the doors at 10am on Saturday 4th August at Nunns Yard Gallery (23 – 25 St. Augustines Street, Norwich, NR3 3BY). We’ll also be open around noon on Sunday 5th August if anyone is around in Norwich and wants to pop in and see some awesome Cult & B-Movie related artwork! Attack of the Creature from Beyond the Forbidden Island will feature the artwork from the following artists: Robotic Industries, Uncle Absinthe, Caitlin Sculpts, Czee, Whereschappell, David Stevenson, Dok A, Eloise Hare, Holly Astral, ibreaktoys, Jon-Paul Kaiser, Kerry Dyer, Lance Alexander, Unplugged, Mike Strick, Muffin Man, Onorio D’epiro, PJ Constable, Phil Corbett, Pickled Circus, Run DMB, RYCA, Simon Pritchard, Taylored Curiosities, Trap Toys, Triclops Studio, UME Toys & Wire Wolf.
All unsold pieces will go up on toythinktank.co.uk following the show. Remaining art will also be on show at Toy Art Fair in Leeds on 25th August with Robotic Industries & Uncle Absinthe will be attending the show. Check out some of the amazing pieces that will be on show this weekend…
Toy Think Tank will have Attack of the Creature from the Forbidden Island screen prints available to purchase on the day too. Available in this wonderful silver on black print, there will also be a luminous green on white and perhaps a third colourway will be done before the big day on Saturday!
