Meet 睡夢白白 Dreamy Bac Bac where the two worlds combine into one lovable art collectable piece! Playworks2 has called upon two artists to join in matrimony to make our hearts grow fonder. Calling on Thailand based artist Pang Ngaew the mother of NgaewNgaew and Hong Kong’s Darylhochi the mastermind behind the lovable Bac Bac. Both look lovable and innocent so much so we don’t want to wake them up.
Let Bac Bac and NgaewNgaew snuggle together in a dream without borders, reminding us that if we don’t forget one another, we can still meet in our dreams. See how the chubby and furry paws of sleepy Bac Bac gently embrace but squishes Mini NgaewNgaew like a strawberry mochi. The adorable polar bear meets NgaewNgaew the rabbit.
In a relaxed sitting position, Bac Bac forgets all his worries and naps while clasping his favourite toy in his paws. Like a child and his companion, Bac Bac can’t seem to part with his buddy even while sleeping. Detachable mini Ngaew can be in Bac Bac’s arms or simply snuggle next to him, however, they wish to be.
During the past couple of years, the pandemic has taught us that sometimes a simple hug can become a luxury in life. But as we carry on through life, the distance brings us closer, and the silver lining of dark times will pass as we reunite with loved ones near and far.
The collaborating artists hope to remind us to appreciate those that are with us and celebrate the love by sharing a hug.
