Welcome to the new edition of HENCH! The Undead Recovery Agent by Superplastic x Pete Fowler is going to be available tomorrow (Fri 4th Oct) but in a weird & wonderful new way from the guys that run the DTS app! Check out the details below….
I won’t lie this is an incredible but risky release by Superplastic. It is going to open up the eyes for those that use DTS on their smartphones and perhaps that is a good thing for the HENCH figure. It hasn’t caught as much attention as other Superplastic releases, so looking for other ways to engage with a different type of fanbase can introduce eyes to the prize.
Talking of prize, the only way to own HENCH ‘UNDEAD RECOVERY AGENT’, is to sign up & download the DTS app on your smartphone HERE. With DTS, you have to earn Clout by watching & participating in their videos and activities on their app. Every video etc is worth around 25 clout. Some videos are worth more. Sharing etc earns you more clout. Taking part in DTS quizzes etc earn you clout. Clout is the DTS currency. Once you have enough Clout you can enter to win prize draws.
We should also point out that DTS only ship to US winners at this stage, so whilst you may be able to download the DTS app from other locations, you won’t officially be able to win anything from them. Which is where the ‘incredible’ and ‘risky’ aspect of our post comes into play.
With HENCH, you can enter the DTS giveaway. For one entry is 1000 clout, which seems pretty easy to obtain from signing up and watching some videos. We are up to 3000 in a short space of time. You can buy as many entries for 1000 clout and at 6pm EST on Fri 4th Oct, DTS will do a live draw for the lucky winners. They’ll select lucky winners and CALL them (DTS take your phone number when registering your account). If you don’t pick up, you don’t win (unfortunately). Another incredible.& risk part of this release.
HENCH is limited to 300 pieces, and at the time of writing is only available from the DTS app.
