BERZERKER by Sop-Art Studio

Christopher Soprano AKA Sop-Art Studio releases a few of his OOAK retro game inspired resin figures to the world! 8-BIT video games was the inspiration for BERZERKER. The first exclusive series of twelve figures made their debut at DragonCon last year, but now is the chance to own one yourself. Completely hand-sculpted, molded, cast and finished. Each BERZERKER features a one of a kind, hand-painted colorway. Sad news is only three left right now.

The pattens on the back reminds us of old skool Atari logo! how cool is that. We are not sure if its just the photos but the finishing looks kinda rough. Maybe its just the photos but still doesn’t change the fact its a cool design. Standing at 6 inches tall (15.25 cm) buy them at Christophers Etsy store HERE.

Since each one is very different, you can find three more to view in person.

In New York, they can be purchased at Toy Tokyo.

In New Jersey, they can be purchased at LITM gallery/lounge. LITM is including a special “containment field” display case, with purchase.

  1. Hey Andy,

I appreciate your enthusiasm for my Berzerker bots.

You have a good eye. Yes, the stripes are inspired by the Atari logo. I used the lines of that logo to create forms which would direct the viewers’ eyes around the contours of the figure.

As you mentioned, there are some rough spots on each of their finishes. Some of this battle damage was sculpted into the original wax master, the other distinguishing marks are part of the unique, multi-layered enamel finish, which varies on each individual robot. They have seen quite a few battles and continue on with their mission to eliminate the humans.

This limited first edition collection received a great reception at Dragon Con 2015; where the majority of them were sold upon their first public release.

Since each one is very different, I would like to let your readers know that aside from my Etsy shop, they can find three more to view in person.

Many thanks to you and all of your readers.

    Cheers!
