‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Kidrobot Mega Munny by Ken Keirns

This is my “Where the Wild Things Are” Mega Munny that I wrapped up last May.

18inch Kidrobot Mega Munny, using Magic Sculpt, and oil paint.

Thanks to Ken for submitting his work through the TTC Frontend Submission tool that we have newly integrated into The Toy Chronicle experience. We spoke with Ken and found out some additional information on this custom.

Ken’s love for Where the Wild Things Are led him to test out the potential for a Where the Wild Things Are Munny originally on an 7inch version of the Kidrobot platform.

Where the Wild Things Are was a huge inspiration to Ken as he was growing up, and it is what inspired him with drawing as a child. Ken wanted to go bigger and add something MEGA to his WTWTA collection at home, so went with the 18inch Kidrobot Mega Munny and he didn’t disappoint! This was a personal project for Ken to add to his own collection. We asked if it was for sale….

They’re not for sale. I have a pretty nice WTWTA collection that they are at home with… plus, the wife would kill me.
