The Canbot by Czee13 is a sure fire hit of 2020 amongst collectors, with over $245k raised during the Canbot 3oz Blind Box Series on Kickstarter this past month and several instant sell-outs with retailers too. But it is also a hit amongst Czee’s peers too within the Designer Toy scene, with artists wanting to get their hands on blank Canbots to do their work on this platform. It’s a good job that this year the annual DTA Custom Show is run by the wonderful folks of Clutter, who are producing the Canbot, so have used the Czee13 Canbot as the official platform for this custom group show taking place this weekend in Beacon, New York.
Featuring a whole bunch of awesome artists, the DTA Canbot Show kicks off on Saturday 12th September. The first artist we have seen show images of their custom Canbot is Mr Kum Kum, who was one of the artists that helped collectors part with their cash during the Canbot 3oz Kickstarter, and he has knocked it outta the park with his work! As you would expect from Mr Kum Kum!
The Skinned Canbot by Mr Kum Kum is wonderfully intricate in its design, with the flayed remnants hanging on to the skeleton, in a gruesome twisted custom that will surely capture the attention of collectors near & far!
The DTA Canbot Custom Show opens, as we mentioned above, on Saturday 12th Sept. To be in with a chance to snag this and all the customs that will make up this custom group show, you will need to be signed up to the Clutter Gallery Preview email list HERE. An email will drop on Saturday with all the relevant information on how to purchase. It is possible that some items will be held back to be on sale during the opening of the Gallery show itself.
