PlayToysForever Presents KLAV9 of Creeping Death Monster Club: One-Off Taiwan Solo Show

Coming off of KLAV9’s solo show at Clutter Gallery last November, when things were kinda normal, PlayToysForever at DesignerCon last year choose the 2 Mega Shark Lords for Merry Go Round Toys all this paved the way for solo show at PlayToysForever! The contents of the show were chosen by the gallery, KLAV9 added a few bonus (hard to find) pieces. Some of the works have been mechanically dissected which includes Ravager, Dino, Tuna and all of them are hand-painted with lacquer and oil paints. We don’t know about you guys but we are loving mechanically dissected style that we have been seeing over the past year.

The solo show at PlayToysForever in Taipei, August 15-August 29. The show features over 50 all-new one-off customs from a wide variety of designers but keeping in mind what appeals to a Taiwanese audience. Below is a teaser of what’s to come, Come back daily as the reveals will be shown and updated.

All of Klav’s pieces are hand-painted one-offs. Each one hand weathered and blemished with his signature colour scheme and weathering style.

The Gallery will be having an (in person) opening on August 15, 2020. Sales will be in person for Saturday and Sunday, and will move to online on Monday August 17 at https://playtoysforever.bigcartel.com/
