Joachim Lau (Slurg), Michael Kohlbecher and Timo Wirtz (das mo) collective known as Rook is hitting it hard with their latest work and dam its so sleek, elegant and minmalistic take on toy/art. Having seen Roook work at ToyconUK 2014 its a pleasure to see them rolling out more creations and prototypes come alive.
First off we have
Sam this little chap is made from fine multiplex birch wood and what a cute fella he is.
Fashion Mojos totally could see this on my wall.
DIY Mojo this will be interesting when other artists get a hold of one and make their mark on the Mojo.
Slurg this angry looking chap has a lot of character, guess he’s going to have a problem blowing his nose.
The Roook collective are in Toronto right now and in the process of making something big or a big run of their work and personally cannot wait to see what it is. Here are a couple of WIP of whats popping off over in Toronto.
Shows how much effort that goes into one piece right?
Every house should have a Mojo on the wall.
Keep you all updated on all the releases from the Roook, interesting times ahead for Roook.
