It is rumoured that the only reason The Toy Chronicle are heading to sunny Pasadena for DesignerCon next month, is for the glorious dogs & burgers at the acclaimed Dog Haus (see our Pre-DCon Burger Meet Event)! That’s only half true. The real reason we’re heading over to the West Coast of Trump America is for the sofubi release of METAL SLOTH by Xpanded Universe!
We were first introduced to the glory of Metal Sloth back in May at Five Points festival in NYC. We were given the gift of the resin version of this metal god, and since that day we’ve fallen crazy in love with the demonic Sloth! We throw our devil horns up in his honour every night & day! Xpanded Universe has been teasing a DCon sofubi release for a while now, but this past 24hrs the stakes have risen! Sofubi Metal Sloth is a go! DesignerCon is going to rock!
