Whilst this isn’t a toy story, it is indirectly linked with the toy scene and it certainly is great news. Anyone in the UK will attest, sending packages to others can be a costly sum. However, it appears the Royal Mail have taken recent feedback and made changes to their pricing structure for sending of parcels.
Taken from the Royal Mail website:
Good things come in small packages but not every package is the same shape so we’ve extended our Small Parcel sizes to include a wide and deep option – both come with the same small price from £2.60*.
Note: If you send over 1,000 parcels a year and use our contract services, these changes do not apply.
*Based on sending a 2nd Class Small Parcel under 1kg. £3.00 for sending a 1st Class Small Parcel under 1kg.
**£5.20 based on sending a 2nd Class Medium Parcel under 1kg. £5.65 for a 1st Class Medium Parcel under 1kg.
